The Lighthouse for the Blind of Greece(Faros), with deep expertise and many years of experience in the field of accessibility, operates an organized Audio Description Department, aiming to ensure the genuine inclusion of people with visual impairments in culture and the arts. This service is based on:

  • Our long-standing, daily, and direct interaction and collaboration with individuals with various visual impairments
  • The extensive practical experience of our staff through the description of exhibits at the country’s unique Tactile Museum
  • Systematic training by attending specialized seminars in the field of audio description

The Department addresses: Cultural and educational institutions, Museums, Theatrical and artistic productions, Organizations striving for universal accessibility in their initiatives.
