The uniqueness of the innovative products in this category lies in the fact that they have a targeted design, perfectly adjusted to the exact needs of this population, with a guarantee of quality, as they are produced by blind workers directly for blind users. Its production also contributes significantly to the sustainability of the Production Units of the Lighthouse for the Blind of Greece and the securing of working positions for blind and partially sighted workers, a unique condition throughout Greece. Greek White Cane
The Unique Greek White Cane, is produced at the Workshops of the Lighthouse for the Blind of Greece, by blind workers, for blind and partially sighted users, totally adjusted to their needs.
It is a unique domestic product, of high quality, totally competitive with relevant products abroad; its special design and characteristics make it a great mobility tool for everyday use and safe and independent navigation.

Smart Guide
The Smart Guide is a portable electronic device for visually impaired people, produced at the Workshops of the Lighthouse for the Blind of Greece.
It is a specialized product of high quality and great utility, as it works both as a navigation device, detecting obstacles and gaps and as a device of further functions -thanks to external sensors-, indicating the liquid level in vessels/glasses, the existence and intensity of lightning, e.t.c.
The inventor and designer of it was the General Director of the Lighthouse for the Blind, Mr. Karkoulias, a blind person himself and therefore it is a specialized tool, addressing the exact needs of blind and partially sighted users.
In 2015, Smart Guide was one of the three business projects of the year that were awarded by the Hellenic Entrepreneurship Award and received interest-free financing, which provided an opportunity to develop this innovative product, further to the relevant cooperation that occurred with Intracom Telecom.

Find My Things
A specially designed technical device for detecting objects, that is produced at the Workshops of the Lighthouse for the Blind of Greece.
This extremely helpful tool is offered for the detection of objects by the user himself in a particular field after moving away from it, thanks to a special sound notification by using the special controller; for example, he can spot where his things have been left, on the beach.
